CBO Earthworks partnered with Eagle Builders to support the construction of the 330,000 sq. ft Nexus Warehouse on a 14-acre site in Regina, Saskatchewan. This project, commissioned by Nexus Industrial REIT, was designed to expand their impressive portfolio of industrial properties to meet the growing demand for warehouse space tailored to the specific needs of their clients.
Our role was pivotal in ensuring the site was prepared and setting the stage for construction to proceed.
With a 330,000 sq. ft building footprint, ensuring proper levelling, compaction, and drainage was critical to creating a solid and safe foundation. Our expansive fleet allowed us to achieve exact levels and accuracy during base preparations.
Installing water, sanitary, and storm utilities across a site of this size required careful planning and execution to integrate seamlessly with the building and surrounding infrastructure. CBO Earthworks’ in-house surveying equipment and experienced team ensured the precise excavation and placement of utilities, meeting all regulatory requirements and keeping the project on time.
The volume of gravel required for this project posed logistical challenges, particularly given the tight construction schedule. Thanks to our in-house gravel supply and collaboration with local pits, we delivered high-quality materials efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintaining momentum on-site.
